PPX had been gearing up for a new world with the Minecraft Caves and Cliffs update, but on the announcement that the update would be split, and that the caves and cliffs themselves would not be released till the end of the year (2021), the decision was quickly made to have at least one interim world with the expectation that once Minecraft version 1.18 "Caves and Cliffs part 2" was released that a new world would begin. | |||
