Wellstowne Worlds | |
Wellstowne Boogaloo is the 13th Pixelated Pickaxe Minecraft world. For the longest time, it was unnamed. The world's seed was painstakingly chosen to foster close builds, and also easy access to the oceans to explore the new features of Minecraft 1.13, "Update Aquatic". For roughly the first nine months of the world's existence, there was consistent but low levels of activity. BWJC and Burrowdizzy, along with BestTux and SpoiledBIO, kept the world alive, with slow but steady builds, including New Tonyville to take advantage of new villager mechanics in Minecraft 1.14, and the Gold Farm.
Around the end of 2019, new and returning members trickled in. GussGriswold founded Canaltown, and invited other members to add buildings to the budding city. Eventually this resulted in the shifting the main activity on the server away from New Tonyville to Canaltown. Completely new members such as Sty and Goldninja brought new blood into the membership, and longtime members like Aaronious also returned. In January of 2020, The_AJAXX was drawn back to Minecraft thanks to the new content provided by the Aquatic Update, and began building again after over a year's absence from the game.
