Brodie Snavely, also known as Burrowdizzy, is one of the remaining members of the Pixelated Pickaxe group. He applied to the Minecraft server in September 2011 and was accepted based on questionable images that didn’t really contain any sort of building prowess but included: two houses, a giant hole, a mob system, a church, and an image of a chicken. It is unknown why Brodie was accepted onto the server, though Nathan had stated: “Your application is very good, and you have been accepted onto the server!”

Biography

Brodie grew up in the state of Iowa and moved to Colorado in 2007, where he met Jonathan Vu. He has always collected LEGO similarly to other server members and has made some very amateur brickfilms, which is what introduced him to Lord of the Lego Nathan Wells.

At some point in mid-2011, Jonathan showed Brodie the new hit video game, Minecraft, to which Brodie responded that "Roblox is better." Brodie would later come to regret this statement, as it as become a running gag among the group. Minecraft also went on to consume much of his time.

Sometime in August 2011, Brodie submitted an application to the Nathan Wells after finding the "hidden" application link. His application was relatively unimpressive and it is not understood why Nathan Wells chose to allow him access to the server.

Play Style

Brodie's builds in Minecraft have not followed entirely consistent styling, though many of his builds follow Medieval Scandinavian Architecture with the designs of the roof, such as his home in the city of Metropolis and his house on Wellstralia. Many of his builds are relatively sparse on the inside and tend to leave large marks on the terrain, including Burrowdizzy Estate and BURRCO Tower. He also tends to be slightly excessive and over the top. At one point, the entirety of Burrowdizzy Estate was moved approximately 6 blocks due west. He also removed one server member's house and rebuilt it at the bottom of a hill in an effort to preserve the river in Wellstowne Metropolis. To this end, Brodie enjoys terra-forming, having sculpted much the the Metropolis river and the valley that contains Burrowdizzy Estate.

Brodie would regularly engage in PvP with other players, including brickboy1000 and RealBrick. At one point, his constant battling with RealBrick resulted in him being de-opped at the end of the lifespan of New Wellstowne. He was later reopped when promoted to "Nether Network Engineer" on Wellstowne Metropolis. Brodie no longer duels with players on the survival servers, possibly due to lack of overpowered equipment, and becomes rather annoyed when provoked.

Server History

Brodie's work on the server was relatively extensive, being one of the most active members. While Brodie was accepted during the lifespan of Wellstowne Classic, he was not added to the whitelist until Frontier.
