The Spawn Gazebo on Wellstowne Classic was the world spawn location, and a path led from there to the main town. There was a chest, furnace, and crafting table available, and the Wellstowne Classic Rules were located just outside the gazebo.
Legacy
Many spawn gazebos have been built since Classic, including some block for block recreations.
