BURRCO Record Studio is a skeleton-creeper record farm designed by Burrowdizzy. The build is located just beyond the northern gate of the New Wellstowne Perimeter Wall and adjacent to the intersection of RHW 2 and RHW 3. The project was intended to evolve into a full-on nightclub and disco but this never came to fruition, with a sign outside reading "I'm scrapping the disco because I frankly don't want to do it." The main entrance is sunk into the ground with a water elevator system down approximately 25 blocks into a record farming area consisting of a chamber that lines a skeleton up with a creeper in a separate chamber. A player could stand with the creeper between himself and the skeleton and the skeleton would then be forced to shoot at the creeper, producing record drops.

Features

The build is comprised of multiple parts for the safe production and storage of records.

Hostile Mob System

Immediately to the right of the main entrance is ladder access to a toggleable Skeleton spawner. In an ideal situation, the lighting would be toggled only briefly to produce only one skeleton as required by the system. A ladder adjacent to the spawner ascends to a viewing area for the creeper filter system. This is a water stream blocked by pistons. When the pistons are in place, daylight from a shaft above will kill any skeletons or zombies in the system and leave the creepers. Creepers, skeletons, and zombies come from a collection of six six by six platforms with four half-slabs to prevent spider spawns entirely. Water sends these mobs into the filter system.

Record Generation Chamber

The filtered creepers will fall into an obsidian chamber with three holes: one for the skeleton to shoot into, another on the opposite side so that the player can stand in the skeleton's line of fire, and one more connected to a water stream to collect record drops. Once a skeleton is spawned and, if necessary, isolated from other skeletons, along with one or more filtered creepers filling the chamber, record farming can begin.

Storage

A small storage room is adjacent to the main control center with 10 dispensers for each record, a jukebox, and additional chest storage for any overflow. The storage room contains ladder access to the externals of the build where all redstone circuitry is visible.

Legacy

Brodie went on to recreate this build almost exactly for his new record business on Wellstowne Metropolis. The internals remained largely the same, with different placements for the skeleton spawner and a much larger hostile mob tower as part of the Burrowdizzy Estate mega-base.
