Wellstowne Horizons, or simply Horizons, is the sixteenth iteration of the Pixelated Pickaxe Minecraft worlds. This map follows Anniversary and began with the release of Minecraft 1.18, the second part of Caves and Cliffs. Unique to this world is players being able to bring their inventories and ender chest inventories from Anniversary, allowing players to skip much of the early game and get a jump start on building. Also unique to Horizons is the inclusion of portions of previous Wellstownes scattered around the map, notably including Caseus Nova from Boogaloo, which is actually the remaining core of the entire world, as Horizons was generated from a pruned version of Boogaloo.
Many new members have been introduced to the server through the SpoiledBIO Extended Universe. This includes the likes of deadtome86, seththefall, and Patchouli.
Wellstowne Definitive Edition
Minecraft 1.18 comes with unique terrain generation blending to smooth the terrain and biomes between old generation and new generation. With this unique opportunity, the admin team held a vote to select iconic areas of previous worlds and import the chunks into the Horizons map. This started with using the Caseus Nova and Tony Island areas from Boogaloo as a base, pruning the chunks beyond that, and generating the world from there out with the new Caves and Cliffs terrain generation implementation.
The following is a list of builds that have been imported into the new world. The intention is for players on the server to "stumble" across these old areas, so for now, the locations of the various areas are only known to Burrowdizzy and Immabed.
