The Heimdall

The Heimdall was a Venator-class Star Destroyer in Imperial service in approximately 15 BBY. The entire crew was killed over the planet Kamino following a breakout of mutated clones. The ship remained in low orbit over Kamino until 5 BBY.

Events of Edge of the Empire

In search of medical equipment for Zmoti Dirpas and the Lasat embryos, and at the recommendation of Ween Reven, the crew of the Heart of Despair traveled to Kamino. The crew encountered The Heimdall in a very low orbit, just above the troposphere. No life signs were present and the ship was broadcasting an all-clear signal. The crew elected to land in the main hangar bay, which had remained open as the ship sat in autopilot over Kamino.
